The wormhole around the corner
ell, 18:16h
Today I found a really awsome place. A place with a Star Wars flag above the door, a whole room with used sci-fi and fantasy novels stacked so high that you need a ladder to reach the upper half of the shelves, a large shelf with US-Imports, card board boxes with books everywhere around the floor apart from the few spots where you actually still have to get through and, most of all the conclusion of every series that had made me secretly get mad at the librarians because I found that they only had three out of ten books of that series.
What I found was a Comic / Manga / Book Shop, led by two guys who were nearly impersonating the cliché for people leading such a shop: Not exactly thin, with long hair, piercings (not too many) and, of course, some kind of franchise shirts. They gave me chocolat.
They also have a helper, a fourteen-ish year old, dark haired boy who, when there is nothing to do (and it doesn't seem as if he has very much to do) spends his time sitting in a corner reading comics.
This shop is like a wishing well. With that I have the first two christmas presents secured (plus far too many ideas for christmas presents for certain people).
The only problem is that once you're in it's pretty hard to get out. Even the guys working there don't know everything they have on the shelves and they're always getting new stuff. I for myself found around twenty books in the first two minutes I'd have bought right off the shelf (although they were German) had I had the money and time to read them.

Do I really have to mention...
... that you're in the 'certain people' category?
BTW: They got a figure / small statue of Picard from First Contact!

Apologies,
I thought my comment's headline abundantly implied my understanding of your subtlety ;)

I hope it will be...
... because the present I originally had planed for you is currently not available. However I got a plan B and a plan C and so on... although plan F would imply that I break our promise which I do not inted to do if I have to ^^
