These are the days...
Today was one of these days. These days when you struggle infinitely to stay awake during the lessons, not because of the topic, but because of the teachers monotonous voice and the fact that you have slept pretty little the night before. Not because you have been drinking with some guys from your class (I didn't even touch alcohol that evening), but because you just couldn't sleep again.
And then you come home, you are finally awake and you sit down thinking, I'll just read a little to calm down and by the time you stop it's already half past seven. Sweating you think that you still have to wash your hair, and you need something to eat and you also still have like a thousand other things you need to do.
That is the point when I turn on a soundtrack (Star Trek - Into Darkness for today), then wash my hair in the basin in my room, because I'm too lazy to go to the shower, grab something to eat which happens to be standing around in my fridge and start out doing all the things I still have to do until the soundtrack is over.
And with dread I think of the rest of the week and all the things I have to do and all the other things I don't want to do and the part of both of those I'm not going to get done anyway.

A private little Sauna
It's somewhat hot, isn't it? It's nearly 300° outside, well Kelvin that is, for I've decided to use that to measure temperatures around here, a) because I think Celsius is boring, b) because I simply don't get Fahrenheit and c) because Kelvin is simply nerdy.
Because of the hot temperatures outside I'm pretty glad, I instantly drew my blinds close, when I came home from school, for otherwise my room would now most likely equal an oven. However when I took my bike for grocery shopping, I noticed a few things:
1. I'm badly out of shape, but I guess that will fade soon, for this weather makes sitting in the bus even worse.
2. Did I somehow miss the Spring?
3. You don't really know how awesome cool showers can be up to the day when it's getting really hot.
4. All my short / summer clothes are still at home.
All of them. I mean it. I only have like three or four T-Shirts in my closet, most of which I am not going to wear in public, only long, thick jeans and no sandals. And that means when I'm going to town tomorrow, which I have to do anyway, I'm going to go shopping for clothes. (And until I get to fetch my sandals from home, I'll be going on bare feet, at least after school.)

Hobbyless creatures
My days when I have school roughly look like this:
I come home at four, then read, blog or do other stuff for at least half an hour, although usually more like up to one hour. Then I do grocery shopping, if I have to, or go down into town, or do clean up or work for my dad for the next hour, which I usually measure by some soundtrack, as most of them are just around one hour long. If I have to go shopping or into town, which I usually combine, I do that afterwards or skip it completely. Sometimes, if I feel like it and have nothing to do, I instead just wander around Mount Seleya for some time.
Then I cook, if I feel like it, or get myself some other source of dinner and eat while watching one or two episodes of something. After that I learn, if I have to and didn't do that already, otherwise I read or write some more, or do what ever comes to my mind, usually including a shower somewhere, up to around eight. At that point I take some movie or two or three more episodes of something and do creative work, while watching, which usually means a) sewing the holes I discovered in my clothes, or buttons that fell of, b) working at my current uniform project or c) making my school-folder look good. At that point it is around half past ten. I'll then read up to around eleven, before I go to sleep.
When I have early shift, it's about the same, only an hour or two earlier than usual. When I have late shift, The part up to the movie in a somewhat reversed order happens in the morning and the rest after work. When I have a free day and nothing else to do, it's the same just somewhat more drawn out. The only exception is Tuesday, for then I've got choir practice at eight pm.

But that changed now. Not the choir-practice part, but a lot of the other stuff. For once my IBM Thinkpad is a Linux now. Also I had to watch a movie on Sunday night, so I only got 20 % of my mobile internet left (although by now rather less than that) and I still got to do the work with my dad with that. Apart from that my PC, which never had any problems with DVDs before somehow doesn't manage to read them anymore now. I believe it is some software problem. But until I know I can't watch anything.
And this means that I am not getting on with my stitching, sewing and other creative tasks. But I have reverted to those which I seem to be best with: reading and writing. Especially writing, as I have neglected that for quite some time now. I will not post anything here, for I am a little reluctant to put anything out on the Internet I haven't written for especially that purpose, but I'm looking for someone to re-read my Star Wars scripts, so if there are any interested souls out there, don't hesitate to ask.
