Schools out!
Most of you, at least those who still go to school, will call me crazy now. I know that you're still in the middle of the term with tests and all that, and actually my school even started later than yours, but I'm actually done yet.
Well, ok, it's not that I have hollidays or something, but at least the whole theory part is done for now. Our practical part starts on monday.
And we're going all in from the start, with different shifts and everything. I got nearly two whole weeks with only one free day, early and late shifts alternating almost every day... That sounds like fun.
But still I'm quite happy to be out of school for once. No afternoons filled with learning, no boring teachers and maybe even sleeping longer in the morning every once and then, if there's no one starting drilling holes into the walls somewhere around me, that is.
Still, there's nothing that can ruin my day today, because I got an A in Anatomy. Quite a good way to end the theoretical part.

When everything goes wrong...
It all started with a water boiler. Or rather with the fact that I have non. I recently moved into my schools residential home and so I'm pretty much short of everything you need in daily live but don't usually think about. In the last three weeks I acquired two book shelves, a thin soft mattress (because the one we got there is awfully hard), a laundry basket, two sets of dishes, a fruit knive and two small old pots from my dad. Also I lend bedclothes, knives, forks, spoons and a few other things from my mum.
In this time my brother also finally found a girlfriend he's really getting along with (mind you, he'll be 30 in February). And a week ago we met for lunch at my mum's. For some reason we came onto the topic of all the stuff I still don't have, and my brother's girlfriend told me she had an old but funktioning water boiler she could give me, among other things.
So much for the background, now the story:
The original plan was to get the car from my dad (since I don't have my own yet) on saturday, drive down to my brother's girlfriend, get the stuff and give the car back by saturday evening.
Then Liz phoned me that she had a present for me, on which I replaned, to stop her by on saturday, because she's not living far from my brothers girlfriend.
Then my mum phoned me, if I could come help her bake cut-out cookies for christmas, but she'd have to work night shift on friday, so I replaned to stop by Liz on friday evening, stay a while, probably over night, then either drive by my brothers girlfriend first then home, or vice versa and help my mum with baking on saturday.
Then my mum phoned that she didn't have to work nightshift and I should come on friday evening so we could start early on saturday. Bad thing: It was friday evening then already and I was nearly at Liz' already.
Soooo: I drove to liz, stayed there for about an hour, then drove home, and helped my mum bake cookies all day, with the plan of going back to liz on saturday afternoon after having stoped by at my brother's girlfriend for the water boiler. But the saturday got a little too long.
I managed to call the brother's girlfriend, and change the plan to having late breakfast together on sunday (meaning around 1 pm), when Liz told me I maybe shouldn't come because her parents are ill and thus iritable and I already told my mum I'd be leaving in the evening.
It's saturday evening now. The plan for the late breakfast is still standing. I can't really sleep at home, and I don't want to go back to the residential home, mainly because it's a rather long ride. But even less I want to sleep in the car.
Let's see, what the evening brings...

Note: Quite funny, the only thing that worked out to my favour is that I may have the car until some not yet defined time on sunday...

Hello and Welcome
I think I should start by introducing myself.
I'm an 18-year-old german girl, Trekkie, Gatie, Warsian and in general nerd, currently student nurse, about 1.60 metres tall, with short blond hair (kind of like Samatha Carter in the first seasons of SG1) and greenish blue eyes. I'm a passionate musician and writer of fanfictions. Appart from the afore mentioned franchises I also like a lot of other series and movies, such as Andromeda, Early Edition, Back to the Future, and several others.
I started this, because sometimes I just want to share things with the world and I think this is a good way to start.
Have fun and please tell me what you think about the design.
Ellena
